Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, to recruit a Part-Time Secretary. This position is based in Ards Community Hospital and offers 18.75 hours per week with an immediate start.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust on a Part-Time Temporary basis. You'll provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support while working in a dynamic environment that makes a real impact on people's lives.

The Role

  • Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to Mental Health teams
  • Managing appointments, diaries, correspondence, and patient-related administration
  • Producing reports, letters, and other documentation using Microsoft Office packages
  • Audio typing and minute taking for meetings
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records
  • Acting as a key point of contact for service users, carers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Supporting consultants and medical staff with caseload administration and waiting list management
  • Contributing to the smooth running of busy mental health services

The Person

Essential Requirements:

  • 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language, plus 1 year's secretarial/administrative experience; OR NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent) plus 1 year's secretarial/administrative experience; OR 2 years' secretarial/administrative experience.
  • RSA/OCR Stage II Text Processing (or equivalent), OR 12 months' word processing experience including report and letter production.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
