Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, to recruit a Band 3 Administrator within the Finance Department in Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry. This role is temporary until the end of December and offers an immediate start.
The Band 3 Administrator will work within the Finance Team and play a key role in supporting debt recovery activities, maintaining accurate records, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the recovery of outstanding debts.
- Review overdue debt reports and monitor debtor accounts using financial systems and Excel spreadsheets.
- Liaise with Financial Assessments teams, Shared Services Accounts Receivable Centre, solicitors, clients, relatives, and representatives regarding debt recovery matters.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity and debt management actions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to queries.
- Support the Debt Manager in ensuring compliance with financial procedures, statutory requirements, and departmental guidance.
- Participate in office administration tasks, including processing correspondence, invoices, statements, and reports.
Essential Requirements:
- 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, and at least 1 year's experience in a clerical/administrative role; OR A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clerical/administrative role.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
