THE OPPORTUNITY
Working closely with senior legal colleagues, you will provide administrative and secretarial support across a range of legal, corporate and operational matters. The role will suit an experienced Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator or administrator from a fast-paced environment, particularly someone with manufacturing or commercial experience. It would also suit someone looking to move into an in-house legal role.
COMPANY
Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating in a busy commercial environment. You will join an established legal function and work alongside experienced legal professionals across a range of corporate, commercial and operational matters.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- £28,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Full-time or part-time hours considered
- Monday to Thursday, 8:15am - 5:00pm
- Friday finish at 1:00pm
- 3% pension contribution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to the legal team
- Managing diaries, meetings and correspondence
- Preparing and proofreading legal documents and contracts
- Maintaining legal files, records and databases
- Handling confidential information
- Assisting with legal and regulatory documentation
- Conducting legal research and gathering information
- Supporting corporate governance documentation
- Monitoring legal invoices, expenses and budgets
- Liaising with internal departments and external contacts
- Supporting the smooth running of the legal department
ABOUT YOU
- At least 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary or administrator in a fast-paced environment
- Manufacturing or similar industrial experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of procurement or tendering processes is advantageous
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Professional and discreet approach to confidential information
- Proactive, flexible and team-focused approach
