Role Summary
In this banking operations role, you will be responsible for the secure and accurate handling of cash and the efficient processing of customer banking transactions. You will ensure all transactions are completed in line with banking procedures, regulatory requirements, and security standards while providing professional support to customers.
Main Duties
- Process a high volume of banking transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, lodgements, cheque transactions, and account payments, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Handle and balance cash securely throughout the day, completing end-of-day reconciliation in accordance with banking procedures, audit requirements, and security controls.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal policies, anti-fraud measures, and regulatory requirements when processing customer transactions.
- Resolve routine transaction queries efficiently while providing professional and courteous customer service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth branch operations, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
