Honeycomb is delighted to be working with the Southern Trust to recruit a part-time administrator. This role offers 24 hours per week and is based in Armagh.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Southern Trust in the School Nursing team based in St Luke's Hospital, Armagh.

The Role

As an administrator you will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the School Nursing Team, helping ensure the Healthy Child, Healthy Future Programme and immunisation services run efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the School Nursing Team and manager in delivering the Healthy Child, Healthy Future Programme, including regional immunisation and paediatric flu programmes.
  • Prepare and organise information packs and envelopes for distribution to pupils in schools.
  • Deliver and collect correspondence between schools and the School Nursing Service as required.
  • Liaise with GP practices and parents/carers to obtain and update vaccination information.
  • Produce and format correspondence, reports and other documents using word-processing systems.
  • Carry out general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying and maintaining an organised office environment.
  • Manage telephone and administrative enquiries, including maintaining diaries and arranging meetings and appointments.
  • Process incoming and outgoing post and deal with routine correspondence in line with established procedures.
  • Order, receive and check office supplies and stores to ensure the team has the necessary resources.
  • Accurately enter and retrieve information using computerised systems, including the Child Health system.

The Person

The right person for this role will have a strong administrative background and be available for an immediate start.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English or equivalent
  • 1 year of administration experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Word
  • Holds a current driver's licence with access to a vehicle

Package and Benefits

This role offers an immediate start and a rate of £12.71 per hour. The position is temporary until the end of February 2027. The role offers 24 hours per week- Monday-Friday.
