Reception Manager - The Kings Head We are looking for a Reception Manager to join our friendly team. With a fantastic development program and internal progression opportunities, Honeycomb Houses offers a great platform for you to build your hospitality career. To be a successful Reception Manager you will display excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in coaching and engaging the team. You will have a hands-on management style and always put the guest first, leading service excellence at all times. You will display high levels of organisation and attention to detail as will be overseeing all hotel reservations and the teams that operate within this department. You will be responsible for managing the reception and night porter team planning their rotas and managing costs within this department in line with the business requirements. You will also work closely with the Head Housekeeper and housekeeping team, building a strong and supportive working relationship to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel. You will lead the reception team to deliver great guest service. Responding to all guest enquiries within 24 hours. You will be confident in all systems inclusive of our hotel booking system, our restaurant booking system and rota planning and payroll system, with previous experience of Rezcontrol being advantageous. You will be supporting the housekeeping department in the management of property issues, bedrooms standards inclusive of bedroom quality checks. You will co-ordinate the management of large group bookings within the hotel. You will co-ordinate the control of ledger accounts within the hotel. You will communicate with all other departments to ensure all relevant guest information is shared. You will drive sales of bedrooms as well as food and beverage bookings within the Brasserie and Pub from hotel residents. Do the Right Thing - You feel empowered to make a good decision, think on your feet and problem solve, allowing you to resolve any issues across all departments of the hotel when necessary and always strive to make things better.
