You’ll manage the team at our 24/7 Female Scheme, ensuring that everyone has the right support, training and tools to work independently and confidently. You’ll make sure that customers receive the right support to maintain their tenancy and develop positive relationships with other customers and the community. You will also be required to manage additional schemes at different times as required.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of a 24/7 supported accommodation service, ensuring high-quality housing management, building safety, and effective service delivery.
- Manage, support, and develop staff through recruitment, training, supervision, regular meetings, and performance objectives.
- Oversee referrals, resident engagement, multi-agency working, and promote customer involvement to ensure positive outcomes for residents.
- Monitor service performance, including rent collection, void management, property inspections, repairs, health and safety, and risk assessments.
- Manage budgets, staffing expenditure, case management systems, and service reviews to ensure accurate records, compliance, and cost-effective operations.
Who you are:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, with experience in Housing Management.
- CIH membership or willingness to work towards it.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a professional and solution-focused approach.
- Strong business and financial awareness, including experience supporting budgets, expenses, and invoice processes.
- Experience in project delivery, process improvement, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ability to travel, with a full UK driving license and a car.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including covering shifts and some evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
