As a Waking Night Worker, you will be the first point of contact to customers at our 24/7 schemes during the night. You will provide support, manage access to the building, carry out health and safety checks and deal with any emergencies. You will work independently, with support from the Scheme Manager, using your initiative to understand and identify any risks and take appropriate action when needed. You will have access to advice and support from our out-of-hours management on-call service at all times.
What you will do:
- Carry out regular scheme and security checks, including communal areas, doors, and fire alarm testing.
- Provide a friendly first point of contact for residents, offering support and responding to enquiries.
- Manage incidents, disputes, and emergencies safely, maintaining accurate records and escalating where needed.
- Work independently across schemes, providing detailed handovers to managers and day teams.
- Support property, financial, and administrative tasks, including void preparation, maintenance follow-up, and petty cash records.
