As a Tenancy Sustainment and Floating Support Officer, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex or vulnerable needs across the Cheshire East borough. You will provide regular one-to-one support in peoples homes and in the community, building trusting relationships and helping customers overcome challenges, access services, and develop the skills and confidence needed to sustain their tenancy. The role includes supporting with housing issues, income maximisation, budgeting, life skills, and navigating complex personal circumstances, while working closely with partner agencies, maintaining accurate records, and managing your own caseload effectively.

Job requirements
  • Work with customers to complete an induction, risk assessments and create personalised support plans based on their individual needs.
  • Develop and review personalised support plans for customers that are person-centred. These should include their personal health and wellbeing, debt management, benefit entitlement and move-on housing options.
  • Empower customers to build independence and understand what is required to successfully manage their own home.
  • Ensure all properties are well maintained and that regular health and safety checks are completed.
  • Support customers to develop positive relationships with their support network and other services.
  • Complete all administration in a timely and accurate manner, including risk assessments, support plans, forms and database entries.
  • Support customers to move on into their own independent tenancy.
  • Work with the local community to fundraise and raise Concretes profile in the local community.
What we’re looking for
  • Educated to a GCSE level or higher.
  • 1-2 years experience working in a similar sector or transferable skills.
  • Experience of working with customers with complex needs.
  • Strong experience in managing complex tasks and problem-solving within fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of what great customer service is.
  • Ability to fulfil contractual commitments for commissioned services.
  • Experience in supporting financial processes, including expenses and invoice processing.
  • Experience in completing forms and applications for benefits and grants.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and demands.
  • Full UK Driving License with own vehicle for work purposes.
  • Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
