The Sales Progressor plays a critical role in driving sales through to exchange and legal completion across new-build developments. Acting as the central point of contact between customers, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and internal teams, the role ensures each plot progresses efficiently, accurately, and within forecasted targets. This position requires excellent organisation, strong communication skills, and a commercial mindset to proactively resolve issues and maintain momentum throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Progress all reserved plots from reservation through exchange and completion.
- Liaise with buyers, solicitors, mortgage advisors, and estate agents to monitor milestones and remove blockers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales progression trackers, covering exchanges, completions, and customer status.
- Update internal systems (including COINS) with key legal, financial, and customer information.
- Monitor cover notes, HQCs, and reservation documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Weekly Responsibilities:
- Produce and circulate weekly exchange and completion target reports.
- Lead or contribute to weekly sales progression meetings with Sales, Legal, and external solicitors.
- Attend Build/Sales meetings to ensure alignment between build stage, legal readiness, and forecast.
- Maintain forecast workbench data, tracking plot movements and changes to expected completion dates.
- Build strong working relationships with estate agents, IFAs, and solicitors to ensure proactive progression.
- Review and approve invoices linked to legal, PX, or sales-related activity where applicable.
