Hours and Shifts
37.5 hours per week (Work life balance, one shift per weekend)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the pub, restaurant and hotel, including:
- Organising and overseeing shift service, staffing levels and table plans
- Preparing rotas and managing holiday and time-off requests
- Ensuring opening, closing and cash-up procedures are completed accurately
- Monitoring cellar management, stock control and rotation
- Supporting new staff inductions and ongoing training
- Staff development and performance management
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Continuous training programmes
- Assist with new menu roll-outs
- Manage events and large bookings
- Check-ins and check-outs
- Reservations and invoicing
- Housekeeping coordination
- Liaising with FoH and General Managers
- Ensuring appropriate stock and staffing levels
- Health & Safety compliance
- Licensing and fire evacuation procedures
- Preventative maintenance reporting
