Production Assistant – Honesty Group (Food Production Kitchen)
Honesty Group is a people-first, community-led food business.
We run coffee shops, pubs, farm shops and our own food production kitchen, where everything is made by hand using fresh, seasonal ingredients (where possible).

The Role
We’re looking for a Production Assistant to join our food production team, supporting our chefs and bakers to prepare, portion and pack the food that supplies our coffee shops and wholesale customers.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where quality, food safety and teamwork really matter.
- What You’ll Do
- Support chefs and bakers with food prep and basic production tasks
- Portion, label and pack products for delivery
- Follow recipes, specs and production plans
- Carry out food safety, temperature and hygiene checks
- Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised
- Help with stock rotation, deliveries and storage
- Work to production deadlines and quality standards
- Follow all Honesty Group food safety and health & safety procedures
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen or food production experience (helpful but not essential – full training provided)
- A positive, reliable team player
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Good attention to detail and pride in doing things properly
- Willingness to learn and develop food production skills
- Flexible to work early starts / shift patterns if required
