We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who likes getting stuck in. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be right in the middle of the action — turning ideas into campaigns, getting content out into the world, supporting our restaurants and making sure Honest shows up brilliantly wherever our customers find us. You’ll work closely with the wider Marketing, Ops and People teams, as well as our creative and PR partners. Some days you'll be planning a campaign, others you’ll be in a restaurant getting content, briefing a designer or figuring out why something isn't quite working. No two days will look exactly the same.

SO, WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?

  • You'll help our restaurants to reach new customers and keep existing guests coming back for more brilliant burger experiences.
  • You will keep the marketing calendar moving, get campaigns and events out the door and make sure all the little things don't get forgotten.
  • You'll be expected to roll your sleeves up, get involved and make things happen — rather than sitting back and waiting for someone else to do it.

YOU’LL GET STUCK INTO…

  • Getting out into our restaurants to capture content, understand what's happening on the ground and spot opportunities.
  • Supporting our amazing Operations Managers and restaurant General Managers with local marketing activity, events and campaigns.
  • Helping plan and deliver marketing campaigns and events across social, email, advertising, CRM and loyalty.
  • Managing the day-to-day marketing calendar and making sure activity goes out when it should.
  • Supporting our restaurant teams with creation and publishing content across our social channels.
  • Working with our creative partners to brief, review and deliver design, photography, video and other content.
  • Coordinating PR activity and working closely with our PR agency to get the right stories out there.
  • Keeping our website, CRM and other customer/guest-facing channels fresh and up to date.
  • Bringing new ideas from across food, hospitality, culture and social back to the team.
  • Analysing campaign/event results to understand what's working and make business recommendations.
  • Support the People team on employer brand content, recruitment campaigns and internal communications.
  • Planning and organising photoshoots, coming up with the shot list, managing timings on the day with the food team and photographer, hiring props, helping with styling and composition.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO…

  • Gets stuff done - You need to be the person who says “Yep, I'll sort it” — and then actually does.
  • Is an excellent communicator - bringing the Honest brand message to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Has hands-on marketing experience across multiple channels.
  • Enjoys getting into the detail rather than just handing things over.
  • Can take an idea and turn it into something real.
  • Is comfortable creating, coordinating and publishing content.
  • Has a good eye for what looks and feels right for Honest.
  • Can write clearly and confidently in a brand voice.
  • Is a strong copywriter able to come up with creative copy for marketing collateral, CRM and social posts.
  • Has an eye for the detail whether it's creative design to proofing a menu.
  • Is organised and can keep lots of plates spinning at once.
  • Isn't afraid to pick up the phone, send the email or get on a train to one of our restaurants.
  • Can look at data and understand what it's telling you without getting lost in a spreadsheet.
  • Is curious about what's happening around us and brings fresh ideas to the table.
  • Has bags of initiative and doesn't need someone checking in every five minutes.

WHAT WE GIVE YOU IN RETURN

  • Starting range from £45,000/year.
  • Discretionary company bonus scheme.
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office or site.
  • 29 days paid holiday in total.
  • Your birthday off work, fully paid.
  • Complementary staff food & drinks while on shift.
  • VIB (Very Important Burgers) – £100/month, food & drink allowance off shift.
  • Up to £1000 “Refer a Friend” scheme (T&C apply).
  • Access to online 24/7 GP.
  • Hospitality, retail and gym membership discounts.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Enhanced company sick pay, after your first 18 months with Honest.
  • Enhanced maternity or paternity pay, after your first year with Honest.

We believe in equal access to support and opportunity that exists for all. We celebrate our differences and want you to help us to continually strive for diversity, inclusivity and a warm welcome for everyone. This means your name, age, race or gender doesn't need to be on your CV. If you'd rather take it off, that's good with us.
