At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement. Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
As the Motorcycle Sales Operations & Seihan Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Motorcycle Sales Operations, serving as a key liaison between HME and its European Subsidiaries (Branches). Your involvement in current and future sales strategy will be central to our business objectives. A natural inclination toward continuous improvement, coupled with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, will be essential for excelling in this role. You will work closely with Sales Operations in each branch and the Supply team at HME, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of sales plans.
- Support ONO Project leader on management of Sales Planning Platform
- Provide Niguri (Comprehensive supply plan from production to sales) analysis
- Regularly update Branches information to improve sales planning
- Coordinate with Branches, Supply department, and ISD (Honda's IT Department) as needed to achieve sales and stock targets of the Motorcycle (MC) division.
Seihan and Reporting:
- Support Sales Operations & Seihan Section Manager to prepare monthly Seihan (Sales and Operations Planning) presentation.
- Analyse Niguri, Sales Pace and Market trends on allocated markets and discuss with markets necessary actions to ensure achievement of each market sales and profit target.
- Generate and publish the weekly forecast of total European MC Market and Monthly Flash Report
- Follow up with Branches the Customer Order Intake (COI) of our models and prepare the necessary report to top management.
- Manage and coordinate swap operations.
- Lead stock Optimization activities.
- Preparing the ad-hoc reports.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Ensure effective communication of sales & supply information with Branches.
- Actively participate in monthly meetings, contributing to current tactics and future strategy.
- Support on the organization of Branches Business Meetings and other events as necessary.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Required Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, economics, business or equivalent.
- Experience in demand & supply planning, procurement, production & logistics processes.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Understanding of business finance.
