The predicted salary is between 33075 - 40425 £ per year.
At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.
The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday.
However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role
The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for the development, delivery and optimisation of Honda Motor Europe's motorcycle digital ecosystem, encompassing digital platforms, customer-facing content and digital customer experience across all European markets.
The role plays a pivotal part in ensuring Honda's websites, configurators and digital tools effectively supporting product launches, business objectives, customer engagement and lead generation activities.
Acting as the central point of coordination between Product Planning, Marketing Communications, European branches, development teams and agency partners, the role leads the end-to-end digital delivery of new model launches, ensuring content, assets and product information are deployed accurately and consistently across multiple markets and languages.
The position also maintains governance of digital platforms, manages platform enhancements and drives the continuous evolution of Honda's digital channels through data-led decision making and customer-centric thinking.
The role is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve customer journeys, increase platform performance and introduce innovative digital solutions that enhance the customer experience.
Through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, the Digital Content Specialist helps shape Honda's future digital roadmap, delivering platform improvements, emerging technologies and integrated digital experiences that support both commercial performance and long-term digital transformation objectives.
- Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate launch activities on the website and configurator across Product Planning, Marketing Communications, development teams, agencies and local markets.
- Manage the creation, localisation, approval and deployment of customer-facing content across digital platforms.
- Support the ongoing development, optimisation and governance of Honda's motorcycle digital platforms, including websites, configurators and future customer experience tools.
- Coordinate platform enhancements from requirements gathering through to implementation, testing and deployment.
- Maintain product, accessory and technical data across digital platforms and supporting systems.
- Support SEO/GEO strategy and website optimisation initiatives to maximise visibility, engagement and conversion.
- Analyse customer journeys, behavioural data and market feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead initiatives that enhance customer experience, engagement and conversion across digital touchpoints.
- Support the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions, including AI-powered customer experiences and emerging technologies.
- Manage agency and supplier relationships for digital transformation projects, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, budgets and timelines.
- Support procurement and finance activities, including budgeting, supplier evaluations, RFP processes and agency performance reviews.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Required
- Experience in digital marketing, content, website management or digital customer experience, gained in-house or at an agency.
- Experience managing end-to-end product launches across websites and configurators in multiple markets.
- CMS knowledge, creating and maintaining website content accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to identify needs, improve digital experiences and user journeys.
- Driven to improve processes, systems and workflows to increase efficiency and team effectiveness.
- Strong project management skills; managing expectations and coordination across internal stakeholders, external agencies and international markets.
- Strong web analytics knowledge, including Google Analytics, with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Working knowledge of SEO/GEO and evolving search technologies to improve organic visibility and website performance.
- Proactive and self-motivated, using data, trends and customer insight to drive improvement.
- Collaborative team player who builds effective relationships in an international environment.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with confidence communicating at all levels.
- Willing to travel occasionally across Europe as required by the role.
- Experience with CRM or lead management systems.
- Experience working within the automotive, motorcycle or wider mobility sectors.
- Experience managing multilingual websites, multiple market deployments or digital platforms across international territories.
- Passion for motorcycles and an interest in the motorcycle industry, products and customer community.
