The Role: We’re looking to appoint a Senior Digital PR Manager to join our Digital PR team, which sits within the Organic Performance team. Your role will support the team in our ambitious plans to scale and grow over the next few years. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital PR, this is a multi‑faced position that is ideally suited to a creative, methodical, and hard‑working individual. We’re looking for an ambitious individual, who can manage their own clients and is able to come up with, produce and outreach creative and innovative campaigns that will earn links and coverage in top tier, as well as relevant niche publications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and seeing projects through from conception to completion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coming up with creative campaign ideas and innovative stunts that will garner the interest of the media as well as your clients’ target audiences.
- Identifying and creating valuable reactive opportunities for clients across various industries.
- Lead the development and execution of campaigns, working closely with topical experts, designers, data experts and translators.
- Carry out keyword research that will inform your ideas as well as result in impactful onsite content that you will create for your clients’ campaigns.
- Manage the outreach for all your campaigns.
- Create media lists that target relevant and high authority sites and build strong relationships with journalists which result in them coming to you when they have a relevant story for your brand.
- Write high quality headlines and press releases that will appeal to journalists.
- Proficiently use a variety of Digital PR and SEO tools to get the best possible results.
- Manage and build relationships with key clients (that you will own), stakeholders, and media connections.
- Identifying relevant partner influencers when appropriate for campaigns.
- Monitor results and provide regular reports and insights to clients and the Head of Department on PR activities.
- Delivering campaigns and results that meet client expectations.
- Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of SEO and the impact of work on organic performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (content, tech, PPC, social) to ensure our work is having the greatest impact in terms of improving overall organic performance as well as building brands.
- Contribute to amplifying the agency's Digital PR offering be it through creating award winning campaigns, case studies, writing blogs or taking on public speaking opportunities.
- Finding and sharing ways to incorporate new trends into your day‑to‑day role that will potentially improve the teams’ overall ways of working.
- Supporting new business opportunities through coming up with ideas and creating slides.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ proven track record in a Digital PR role is essential.
- A positive attitude!
- Evidence of leading Digital PR creative campaigns that earn high quality links and coverage.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- A confident communicator that can articulate plans and provide excellent and professional consultancy with clients.
- Experience of working with data, with strong analytical skills.
- A good understanding of SEO best practice.
- Experience of using tools such as Buzzstream, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Analytics, Roxhill, Muckrack, Meltwater or similar.
- Experience in producing pitch presentations.
- Experience in producing performance reports and presenting them to clients.
