Install Technician I
Position Type: Full-time hourly position eligible for overtime.
Compensation: $18 per hour base, plus bonus incentives that may average $21‑23 per hour. High performers can earn additional weekly incentives: $175 for high performers, $260 for TechII, and $850 for Crew Lead. Potential for rapid growth to TechII or Crew Lead after 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics according to blueprints or specifications.
- Measure and cut insulation materials (fiberglass, foam, cellulose) to fit specific areas.
- Seal insulation in place using staples, adhesive, or other methods to ensure proper coverage.
- Install roof vents in attic spaces to provide proper ventilation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling insulation materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards and promote efficient workflow.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
Driving & Vehicle Operation
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all applicable laws and company safety policies.
- A driver’s license is not required for this role, but having one can accelerate advancement to a Crew Lead position.
- If eligible, complete required driver training, maintain a valid license, DOT medical certificate, and insurance as required.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any concerns to management.
- While Crew Leads are preferred drivers, employees in this role may be required to drive when operational needs arise and all requirements are met.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with various insulation materials, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Work Environment
- Warehouse base with equipment and material storage areas.
- Customer settings requiring work inside and outside, including attics, basements, small confined spaces, and rooftops.
Physical Demands
- Requires travel in a company‑provided vehicle.
- Regular standing, bending, crawling, or kneeling in confined spaces.
- May lift up to 60 pounds and must be able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, and move safely up and down stairs.
