We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Math Tutor to support students in building strong mathematical foundations and improving academic performance. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, student-centred lessons aligned with the UK curriculum and tailor teaching methods to individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small group math tutoring sessions
- Teach mathematics across levels (Primary, GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent)
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly and patiently
- Create customised lesson plans based on student ability and goals
- Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and coursework
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Prepare students for assessments, mock exams, and standardized tests
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
Curriculum Coverage

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a related field
- Prior experience as a Math Tutor or Teacher preferred
- Strong command of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
- Familiarity with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards) is a plus
Desirable Attributes
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) – preferred but not mandatory
- Experience working with students aged 6–18
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
