We’re a 32-bedroom boutique hotel and spa near Bath where luxury is relaxed, service is personal and our guests are encouraged to have a bloody good time.

We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Host to be the welcoming face of our restaurant and help create a great guest experience from the moment someone walks through the door.

  • What you’ll be doing
  • Giving every guest a warm and confident welcome
  • Managing restaurant arrivals and seating guests
  • Checking reservations and helping organise the flow of the restaurant
  • Communicating closely with the restaurant team throughout service
  • Making sure special occasions, requests and guest details are recognised
  • Helping guests with questions about menus, the hotel and their experience
  • Keeping the entrance and host area looking smart and organised
  • Supporting the wider Food & Beverage team when needed
  • What we’re looking for
  • Previous hosting experience within a hotel restaurant
  • Confidence dealing with guests face-to-face
  • Experience working in a busy restaurant environment
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • A warm, friendly and professional manner
  • The ability to keep calm and organised during busy services
  • Great attention to detail and a genuine passion for looking after people
