Responsibilities
- Social companionship
- Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
- Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
- Standby assistance with transfers
- Overnight safety assistance
Qualifications
- No healthcare certification required, but CNA, HHA, or 6+ months caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
- Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
- Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
- Proof of current, negative tuberculosis (TB) test
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation including proof of valid automobile insurance
- Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
- A compassionate heart for older adults

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
