Responsibilities
- With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Social companionship
- Support with daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and cooking/meal preparation
- Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
- Standby assistance with transfers
- Overnight safety assistance
Qualifications
- No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s care a plus
- Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
- Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
- Proof of current, negative tuberculosis (TB) test
- Physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push, and pull approximately 25 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver’s license and valid automobile insurance
- Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
