Overview
GreenGenUK is expanding again across Devon and Cornwall, and we're looking for talented electricians to join one of the South West's leading renewable energy installation teams. Established in 2011 and now part of the Hometree Group, GreenGenUK delivers award-winning renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial sectors. Our electricians work on some of the most varied and interesting projects in the region, combining traditional electrical skills with the latest renewable technologies.
A Typical Week Could Include:
- Installing Tesla Powerwall and Fox battery storage systems
- Wiring and commissioning air source heat pumps
- Installing EV charging equipment
- Solar PV installations ranging from domestic homes to commercial rooftops
- Testing, inspection and certification
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Consumer unit upgrades
- Supporting large-scale commercial renewable energy projects
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Electricians- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working within domestic and/or commercial installations
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer-facing manner
- Full UK driving licence
- Solar PV
- Battery Storage
- EV Charging
- Heat Pump Wiring & Controls
- Inspection & Testing Qualifications
- Ideally in the second or third year of an electrical apprenticeship
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interest in renewable energy technologies
- Professional attitude and attention to detail
- Driving Licence
Renewables experience is desired but not essential if other heating or domestic electrical experience is available. Full training and support will be provided to help the right candidates develop into renewable energy specialists.
