About Geowarmth
Geowarmth is a multi-award-winning installer of carbon-neutral home energy solutions. With over 20 years of expertise, we deliver premium installations of heat pumps, solar panels, EV chargers, and underfloor heating. Our experienced team is trusted to carry out complex installations at prestigious locations, including World Heritage Sites.
In 2024, we joined the Hometree Group—one of the UK’s fastest-growing home energy services companies. This partnership has expanded our offering to include servicing, maintenance, and financing—supporting homeowners throughout their transition to low-carbon living.
Now is a transformative time to join our business. If you’re passionate about sustainability and driven by sales success, you’ll thrive in this mission-led environment.
The Role
You’ll play an important and supportive part in our welcoming sales team, helping homeowners explore low‑carbon energy solutions that fit their needs. You’ll engage with inbound enquiries, thoughtfully follow up with interested customers, and help shape practical, well‑designed solutions that support comfort, efficiency, and sustainability.
You’ll also contribute to maintaining strong compliance standards and building positive relationships that lead to new opportunities.
Some familiarity with renewable technologies is helpful, but not essential. If you’re curious, motivated to learn, and interested in a purpose‑driven career, we’ll support you to develop hands‑on skills across heat pumps, solar PV, and battery systems. You’ll have opportunities to grow your technical confidence, learn heat‑loss calculation and system‑design skills, and build expertise in a rapidly growing sector.
This role is well‑suited to people who enjoy helping customers, problem‑solving, learning new skills, and contributing to meaningful environmental progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Respond warmly and professionally to inbound calls, emails, and online enquiries, guiding people through their options with clarity and care.
- Home Surveys: Carry out supportive and respectful home surveys to understand customer needs and gather information for accurate system design.
- Follow‑Up & Guidance: Stay in touch with customers to help them make informed decisions, addressing questions and ensuring their experience feels smooth and supported.
- Customer Care: Provide helpful, reassuring responses to queries to maintain high levels of trust and satisfaction.
- Solution Design: Prepare MCS‑compliant system designs for heat pumps. Experience is welcome but not required — full training is provided.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all sales activity aligns with MCS and consumer‑code standards.
- Relationship Building: Maintain positive relationships with existing customers, and identify opportunities to connect with developers, contractors, and partners.
- Organisation & Reporting: Keep CRM records up‑to‑date and help share insights that support team learning and improvement.
- Industry Participation: Represent Geowarmth at events and contribute to informative CPD sessions for partners.
- Team Collaboration: Share ideas, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvements across sales and operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Customer‑Centric Sales Experience: Experience in a customer‑facing sales role — ideally in renewables or home‑improvement sectors — where listening, understanding needs, and providing guidance have been central.
- Comfort With CRM Tools: Able to use CRM systems to stay organised and manage follow‑ups effectively.
- Safety‑Aware: A responsible approach to safe working practices and regulatory requirements.
- Professional & Supportive Communication: Clear, considerate, and confident communication that creates a positive experience for customers.
- Self‑Motivated & Organised: Comfortable managing your own workload and adapting to different priorities.
- Collaborative Mindset: Enjoys working with others, sharing knowledge, and being part of a supportive team.
Extra Credit:
- Industry Knowledge: An understanding of heat pumps, solar PV, and/or battery systems.
- Technical Skills: Experience preparing heat‑loss calculations or system designs.
