The Role
You will work on a wide variety of domestic renewable heating projects across Devon and Cornwall, including:
- Air Source Heat Pump installations
- Ground Source Heat Pump installations
- Unvented hot water cylinders
- Heating system upgrades
- Radiator and pipework installations
- Heating controls and system optimisation
- New‑build renewable heating projects
- Renewable retrofit projects
You will be working in customers' homes as part of a professional installation team, delivering high‑quality work and excellent customer service. The role includes paid travel throughout Devon and Cornwall, with occasional overnight stays where required.
What We're Looking For
Experienced Installers
- NVQ Level 2 minimum (Level 3 preferred)
- At least 2 years of plumbing and heating installation experience
- Good understanding of domestic heating systems
- Strong customer‑facing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Apprentices & Trainees
- Ideally in the second or third year of a plumbing and heating apprenticeship
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Interested in developing a career within renewable energy
- Professional attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Previous heat pump experience is welcome but not essential. Full training and support will be provided to the right candidates.
