The Role
We’re looking for driven, self-motivated Sales Surveyors to join our expanding team. This is a customer-facing position that blends technical understanding with consultative selling. You’ll guide homeowners from initial enquiry through to survey, design, and quotation — helping them choose the right renewable energy solution for their home. While GreenGenUK provides a strong pipeline of qualified leads, we’re looking for proactive individuals who take ownership of their performance — people who thrive on building their own opportunities through follow-ups, local networking, and referrals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Surveys: Carry out in-home surveys to assess suitability for solar, battery, and heat pump systems.
- Design Proposals: Create and present tailored proposals, supported by our in-house design team.
- Lead Conversion: Convert GreenGen-supplied leads and proactively generate new enquiries and relationships.
- Follow-Up: Engage with quotes and leads to maximise conversion rates.
- Customer Education: Educate customers on technology, payback, and available grants such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
- Compliance: Maintain full compliance with MCS and RECC standards.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on energy trends, smart tariffs, and government incentives.
- Professional Representation: Represent GreenGenUK with professionalism, building trust and long-term customer relationships.
What we’re looking for
- Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or surveying, ideally in renewables, heating, or home improvements.
- Self-Motivation: Strong drive to generate business and consistently meet targets.
- Consultation Skills: Confident in conducting in-home consultations and technical discussions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organisation: Organised, disciplined, and focused on delivering a great customer experience.
