The Role: Join our team as a Heat Pump Engineer, where you will be installing, servicing and maintaining ground and air source heat pumps and the radiators and underfloor heating systems they work with. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise with quality on-the-job training, manufacturer training courses and professional development qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation Assistance: Actively assist in the installation and commissioning of heat pump systems and the radiator and underfloor heating systems they work with.
  • Electrical Competence: Increase your knowledge of fundamental electrical principles.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Gain a greater understanding of water regulations and low temperature heating systems.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all work aligns with company and legislative H&S procedures.
  • Training: Attend and complete all training courses to a high standard.
  • Administration: Complete and return all required documentation as directed.
  • General: Stay updated on best practices and technical developments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: Installing radiators, underfloor heating systems, cylinders and plumbing pipework.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Safety Commitment: Adhere to safe working practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Level 2 Plumbing, Heating or Heat Pump qualification from a recognised awarding body.
  • CSCS or Similar H&S Qualification.

Extra Credit:

  • Level 3 Plumbing, Heating or Heat Pump qualification.
  • Completion of relevant Heat Pump manufacturer installation courses.
  • BPEC (or equivalent) GSHP or ASHP qualification.
  • Low Temperature Heating Systems qualification.
  • National Certification for Unvented Hot Water Systems: G3 qualification OR proven experience.
  • WRAS qualifications.
