Established in 2011 and now part of the Hometree Group, GreenGenUK delivers award-winning renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial sectors. Our electricians work on some of the most varied and interesting projects in the region, combining traditional electrical skills with the latest renewable technologies.
One day you could be installing a Tesla Powerwall battery system. The next, wiring an air source heat pump and commissioning a renewable heating system, or even connecting a large scale commercial solar installation in a factory or hospital.

A Typical Week Could Include:
- Installing Tesla Powerwall and Fox battery storage systems
- Wiring and commissioning air source heat pumps
- Installing EV charging equipment
- Solar PV installations ranging from domestic homes to commercial rooftops
- Testing, inspection and certification
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Consumer unit upgrades
- Supporting large-scale commercial renewable energy projects
No two weeks are the same. Our customers range from homeowners living in 500-year-old Cornish cottages and cutting-edge passive houses, through to factories, car dealerships, schools, farms, offices and NHS facilities. We focus on delivering high-quality installations directly for end users, where customer service, workmanship and pride in the finished product really matter.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Electricians
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working within domestic and/or commercial installations
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer-facing manner
- Full UK driving licence

- Inspection & Testing Qualifications
Apprentices & Trainees:
- Ideally in the second or third year of an electrical apprenticeship
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Driving Licence
Renewables experience is desired but not essential if other heating or domestic electrical experience is available. Full training and support will be provided to help the right candidates develop into renewable energy specialists.
