The Role
You'll initially work alongside our experienced solar installation teams, learning our installation methods, standards and systems. As your experience grows, you'll progress into a Lead Installer role, taking responsibility for organising and delivering your own projects with support from the wider GreenGenUK team. Our work is varied, and no two weeks are ever the same.
You could be working on:
- Traditional Cornish slate roofs
- Concrete tiled roofs
- New-build homes
- In-roof solar systems
- Solar PV retrofits
- Commercial solar installations
- Battery storage projects alongside our electrical teams
Our customers range from homeowners living in 500-year-old cottages and barn conversions through to modern passive houses, farms, factories, schools, NHS facilities and commercial premises. We focus on quality installations for end users who have chosen to invest in renewable technology, allowing our teams to take real pride in the finished product.
What We're Looking For
Essential- Roofing experience
- Experience working on slate and tiled roofs
- Comfortable working at height
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Solar PV installation experience
- In-roof solar experience
- New-build roofing experience
- Experience leading small teams
- CSCS Card
