We are looking for a Rewards
& Benefits Manager to take full ownership of our reward approach.
As a critical member of our lean People team, you will be the sole subject matter expert responsible for ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, while managing our total rewards offering and compensation philosophy.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a hands-on individual who loves data accuracy but also wants a seat at the table to shape our rewards strategy.
You will also play a key role in an upcoming major project: the implementation, integration and embedding of our new HRIS.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Payroll Management
- Manage and execute the full monthly payroll cycle for 130 employees, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance.
- Handle all payroll variations, including new starters, leavers, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), overtime, and bonus and commissions payments.
- Manage year-end reporting (P60s, P11Ds) and
- Oversee the auto-enrolment compliance and monthly reporting
- 2. Benefits & Supplier Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with our benefits providers, brokers, and insurers (e. g., healthcare, life assurance, pension).
- Partner with brokers to manage annual benefit renewals, ensuring we get the best value and coverage.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries
- 3. Compensation & Benchmarking
- Collaborate with the Director of People and Managers during review cycles, delivering data-driven insights and impact modeling.
- Collaborate with the team to analyse and monitor our monthly GPG as part of our broader people metrics.
- Direct our salary and benchmarking initiatives utilising Ravio insights to maintain our strong market competitiveness.
- 4. HRIS Implementation & Systems
- Act as the payroll and benefits lead for the rollout of our new HRIS, ensuring seamless data migration and system configuration.
- Build efficient, scalable workflows between the new HRIS and payroll software to eliminate manual data entry.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll and benefits independently, ideally within a small, fast-paced People function.
- Strong experience with modern HR tech stacks. Experience with payroll module integration as part of an HRIS implementation is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) with a sharp eye for detail, you spot a data anomaly from a mile away.
- Experience dealing with external brokers and benefits providers, confidently managing renewals and service levels.
- Ability to explain complex tax, pension, or payroll queries to employees in a clear, empathetic, and jargon-free way.
