About The Role
At HomeServe we put the customers' experience at the forefront of everything we do. As a Plumbing Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of plumbing systems in our customers' homes, providing industry‑leading service, enhancing our reputation, and driving customer growth.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform 1st and 2nd fix plumbing work in domestic housing.
- Maintain plumbing, drainage and heating systems ensuring safety and compliance.
- Engage with customers to explain work required, answer questions and provide advice on plumbing solutions.
What You Must Have
- Level 2 in Plumbing with copies of certificates on successful application.
- Experience with 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
- Experience working as a plumber in domestic housing.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proactive, "can do" attitude.
- Keen eye for detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
Training & Support
- Week 1 – Attend our Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday; cover HomeServe, health & safety, and receive tools and equipment.
- Week 2 – Buddy with an experienced HomeServe Plumbing Engineer.
- Accommodation and meal allowance for induction where appropriate.
