About the Role
Product at Homesearch has been founder‑led so far, and it’s taken us a long way: strong data, strong engineering, products agents want.
What we need now is someone to own it and sharpen it.
You’ll take real ownership of a product, and decide what we build, what we don’t, and how we measure success.
This is a doer‑leader role in a lean team.
You’ll run discovery, sit with agents, make the hard prioritisation calls, and work closely with our founder to turn vision into software agents love using.
A product delivery manager and a UX/UI designer support delivery and design, so you can stay focused on what clients actually need.
You’ll have genuine autonomy, and we’ll expect you to use it: to bring structure, to challenge us with evidence, and to keep things simple.
Your first project will be a real, specific product problem, not a warm‑up.
You’ll get closer to our agents than anyone, work out what’s getting in their way, and make it effortless.
When a product earns agents’ trust, they roll it out from a handful of branches to hundreds.
That’s the prize.
- What You’ll Do
- Own product discovery, spending real time with estate agents to understand the job they’re hiring our products to do.
- Take strategic ownership of one product at a time: the what, the why, the what‑not, and how success is measured.
- Prioritise ruthlessly on client value, commercial impact, adoption and feasibility, and hold the line against the noise.
- Make our products effortless to set up and use, so agents reach clear results with less effort.
- Work closely with the founder and leadership, bringing independent judgement and challenging with evidence.
- Set success metrics before you build, run experiments, and act fast on what the data tells you.
- Partner across engineering, data, design, sales and customer success so the whole business moves together.
- 8+ years of work experience, with 5+ in product management, ideally in B2B Saa S, data, workflow, CRM or another complex software category.
- You own discovery and roadmap decisions, and you can point to adoption, retention or customer value you’ve improved.
- You lead customer research yourself, and you’re happiest close to users rather than behind a desk.
- You’re strong with data. You self‑serve on analytics and make decisions on evidence.
- You simplify. You’ve taken something complex and made it easier, rather than only adding to it.
- You’re confident. You can challenge a founder with evidence, and you know which founders you can and can’t work with.
- You’re structured, self‑disciplined and self‑reflective, and you bring calm judgement to the balance between moving fast and getting it right.
- You’re a doer‑leader: low ego and hands‑on.
