About the role
Homes by Honey is a growing residential housebuilder delivering high-quality homes across Yorkshire and the Midlands. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team based in Leeds.
The role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple residential developments from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of live housing sites
- Subcontract procurement, tendering, placing and administration
- Valuing subcontractor applications and agreeing final accounts
- Managing variations, cost control and commercial risk
- Producing accurate monthly CVRs and cashflow forecasts
- Liaising closely with Construction and Technical teams
- Ensuring compliance with company commercial procedures and reporting requirements
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential housebuilding
- Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and cost reporting
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Knowledge of COINS ERP system desirable
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree, HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
- Housebuilder or residential main contractor background preferred
