1.Provide a flexible, responsive, high quality general repairs and maintenance service for domestic and commercial properties,

2.Participate in all tasks necessary for the upkeep of property and grounds.

3.Maintain a high quality of service in all aspects of the role, and adhere to health and safety in all working practices.

4.Work as part of a team.

5. Ensure site is always left clean and tidy.

6.Ensure company property and tools are taken care of and maintained appropriately.

7. Be part of an out of hours on-call service which provides assistance with emergency repairs to properties serviced/managed by the Company out of office hours.

8. Be aware of any other defects/repair requirements in properties, report these into the office.

9. Remain alert to any other issues that might occur within properties and ensure that these are reported into the office where necessary.

10.Support any volunteers/trainees on duty.

11.To maintain professional boundaries in line with Company policy, in particular with our customers residents.

12.To attend any training requirements to meet relevant standards for maintenance works and health and safety issues or to maintain any professional qualifications.

13.Where any complaints are received about the company or its service report this promptly to the office.

14.Complete administrative paperwork to agreed deadlines or procedures.

15.To adhere to the Companys financial regulations, standing orders, policies and procedures, in particular: Health & Safety, Confidentiality, Data Protection, Professional Boundaries and Customer Care.

JOB PURPOSE:

To be part of a team carrying out tasks in the following services:

-Responsive Repairs assisting with responsive repairs in housing stock and office premises. A range of maintenance and repair tasks are carried out and the post holder will assist with those tasks or complete them on their own depending on experience and abilities. Types of work we undertake: low level plumbing repairs, painting & decorating; securing or fixing broken windows/doors, locks, latches; curtain poles; shelving; tidying and clearance work; joinery. xiskglj Training and skill building will be provided where needed.
