Job Description:
Extrastaff, a Labour Hire Company, is hiring full-time Scaffolders. Our growing business requires an organised and trustworthy individual who prides themselves on quality workmanship. You will be motivated and result-driven. Positions are full-time and permanent, with site location based on project demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and erect scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as building stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts or sporting events.
- Inspect the area that requires scaffolding and make calculations to determine what kind of scaffolding is required, unload it, fit its tubing and braces together to form frameworks, and fix ladders, rails, and other attachments to the scaffolding.
- Responsible for checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting scaffolding structures for safety, and taking down scaffolding when the job is done.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years scaffolding relevant experience
- Friendly, with good time management and excellent work ethic
- A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry
- Sound knowledge of H&S procedures
- Reliable and hardworking

Although this role is listed in Canterbury, we are recruiting for positions to be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. These regions include:
- North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke\’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington.
- South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
