Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive H&S culture throughout the company and the residential buildings we manage.
- Monitor and review site performance through inspections and audits.
- Assist and participate in highlighting health-related risks and training.
- Ensure H&S Risk assessments and COSHH documentation are maintained.
- Ensure safety related training is kept up to date.
- Communicate and implement relevant changes in legislation and environmental, safety techniques throughout the Company and the residential buildings we manage.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders for H&S and collaborate to achieve shared goals.
- Manage and prioritise your workload to ensure timely delivery and work quality.
- Adaptability and willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays (valid UK driving licence preferred).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- IOSH & NEBOSH qualified.
- Knowledge or understanding of current health and safety legislation.
- Experience carrying out site inspections/audits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise duties.
- Initiative to take ownership of your work and deliver results within agreed timescales.
Desired Skills:
- Residential building / FM safety background.
- Working knowledge of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and HHSRS.
- Knowledge and implementation of Building Safety Act 2022.
- ISO 14001 & 9001 experience.
