Working in a team led by Katie Dawson, our Assistant Director Control Environment, the Continuous Improvement Senior Manager will play a critical role in facilitating the delivery of tangible improvements to processes and ways of working across Homes England. You will be joining our small, newly formed team committed to enhancing continuous improvement culture and making positive change to how our internal and external services are delivered. We have established a continuous improvement framework rooted in the kaizen concept of continual small‑scale change, to help us deliver rapid solutions. This is a rare chance to deliver hands‑on tactical improvements that improve day‑to‑day operations, enhancing colleague satisfaction and contributing to the strategic goals of the Agency by improving efficiency and effectiveness.
Working with colleagues from across all Homes England disciplines you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective services are delivered and have the opportunity to build and grow the continuous improvement culture and mindset across Homes England. The role will work with stakeholders of all grades from across all areas of delivery, facing and corporate functions. There are lots of ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to enhance day‑to‑day delivery through bringing innovative solutions to the table.
Responsibilities
- You will support a multitude of stakeholders, identifying and implementing rapid improvement opportunities across the Agency.
- You will conduct facilitation discussions and workshops to root cause problems, and develop guidance, templates, and deliver on multiple improvement initiatives concurrently as lead delivery or support and facilitation.
- You will manage colleagues, drive work to completion, communicate effectively, and collaborate inclusively.
- You will guide colleagues through the CI framework to realise benefits and manage stakeholder engagement at senior levels, shaping discussions with a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of our work.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and leading improvement initiatives.
- Inquisitive, can‑do mindset with exceptional engagement and influencing skills.
- Proficient facilitation and workshop skills to uncover root causes and co‑create solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and influence senior stakeholders.
