Working in a team with the Head of Acquisitions, the Senior Acquisition Manager role will play a critical role in identifying and acquiring land on behalf of the Agency to accelerate regeneration and the delivery of new housing. The team believes in working in a collaborative and flexible way, taking an innovative and creative approach to problem solving.
Working with key stakeholders and a professional team, you will ensure efficient, consistent and robust due diligence to enable critical decision making on new projects to support local place priorities. The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects in the East of England. There are some creative projects to get involved with, and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day-to-day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Acquisitions offering.
You'll be comfortable supporting the Regional Team with complex delivery issues, aiming to support the identification of appropriate interventions to unlock land for development and securing land acquisitions where these are required. You will be proficient in assessing land within the region and have a strong track record of negotiating successful land acquisitions.
You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level, and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Acquisitions team.
