1st stage interviews will take place on 1st September and 3rd September. 2nd stage interviews will take place on 30th September and 2nd October. There will be a two stage interview process and you will be required to complete an online Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) prior to second stage. The second stage interview will include a focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

About the role...

We have 5 regions and we are looking for 2 Regional Delivery Directors for the South and London/East regions. Please stipulate in your application which one/s you are applying for. We are entering an exciting new phase, working through a regional and national operating model that will deliver homes, unlock regeneration and create places that thrive. To support this, the agency is adapting its operating model, we have established 5 regions alongside the continuation of national activity. These 2 roles are critical to driving delivery across each region, leading teams in a time of change and ensuring we respond to partners and Government ambition for place making. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of housing delivery and place making in England.

About you…

We are looking for an experienced and delivery-focused Director to lead a high-impact regional portfolio, driving housing and regeneration outcomes at significant scale and pace. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for managing complex programmes, leading multi-disciplinary teams, building high-performing, highly engaged teams, and deputising for the Executive Regional Director as required. You will work in partnership to deliver against the regional business plan and partner ambitions. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating delivery, unlocking opportunities, and ensuring Homes England’s interventions deliver maximum impact. As a culture carrier within the Agency, the Regional Delivery Directors will operate to the highest standards of behaviour and governance, embedding a culture of professional excellence across Homes England. Highly visible within the region, the postholder will ensure ambitious targets and milestones are achieved both locally and nationally, working as part of a new Delivery Leadership Team at Homes England.

You will need to bring:

  • Senior leadership experience in regeneration, growth, housing, or related sectors across public/private environments
  • A proven track record of leading teams and delivering outcomes in complex sensitive settings
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and translate strategy into clear, actionable plans and communication
  • Experience building partnerships and place-based strategies for regeneration and growth
  • Understanding of technical, legal, design, and sustainability standards in housing/land development
  • Confidence in representing the Agency at the highest level with external partners
