Joining the Data and Analytics Directorate means becoming part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team that is committed to making a tangible impact on the housing landscape in England. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about data, motivated to solve complex challenges, and eager to contribute to the success of one of the nation’s most important public agencies.

As a technical authority for data architecture, you will shape and refine the agency’s data assets, enhancing cross-system connectivity and supporting data-driven decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and supporting the data architecture for Homes England. You’ll help ensure data is managed effectively across the organisation, enabling better decisions and delivering real societal value by supporting the creation of safe, sustainable, and high-quality homes that improve lives and strengthen communities.

Responsibilities

A bit about you… You are an experienced data professional with a background in data architecture frameworks, tools, and best practices, combined with hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable data models and infrastructure. You bring knowledge of data engineering concepts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data designs, and are skilled in designing solutions for both on-premises and cloud-based environments.

You have demonstrated your ability to communicate complex technical concepts with clarity, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. With a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, you excel at identifying opportunities for improvement, overcoming challenges, and delivering results that align with organisational objectives.
