A bit about the role… Working within the HR management information and data team in the Chief Operating Office, the HR Data & Systems Advisor supports the delivery of accurate, reliable people data that underpins workforce planning, decision making and compliance across the Agency. You will help ensure HR systems and data are managed effectively, trusted and accessible to colleagues across the organisation. You’ll join a collaborative and knowledgeable team responsible for maintaining a single, trusted version of people data. Working closely with HR, Digital and corporate colleagues, you’ll support data governance, maintain system integrity and contribute to high-quality reporting and analysis that helps provide visibility of workforce trends, risks and priorities.
Day to day, you’ll deliver HR data, reporting and system activity in line with agreed priorities and workforce reporting requirements. You’ll manage data capture processes to ensure accuracy and compliance, investigate and resolve data quality or system issues, and support improvements to processes and workflows. You’ll produce regular and ad hoc reports, support workforce planning and organisational reporting cycles, and provide practical guidance to colleagues on how to use HR systems and reporting tools effectively.
A bit about you… You have experience working with data, systems or management information (HR experience desirable) and understand the importance of data quality, consistency and governance. You are confident using Excel to work with data and produce accurate reports, and you can present information clearly for a range of audiences. You are detail oriented and proactive, with the ability to identify issues, understand root causes and support the implementation of practical solutions. You take a continuous improvement approach and are keen to make better use of systems and data to improve efficiency and reliability. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues and work well collaboratively across teams. You are organised and able to manage competing priorities, delivering accurate outputs to deadline.
