About the role...
Working closely with the Executive Team and leading our Digital function, the Director will play a critical role in enabling our organisation's strategic ambitions through high-quality, user-centred digital services. You will be joining a forward-thinking and highly skilled team who are passionate about delivering digital services that improve outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering a step change in our digital capability, service quality and organisational efficiency, translating our digital strategy into clear, measurable outcomes that deliver real value. You will:
- Shape and deliver the organisation's digital strategy aligned to organisational goals and user needs
- Lead major digital transformation programmes at pace and scale, ensuring clear benefits realisation
- Drive the transition to a product and service-led operating model
- Simplify and modernise the digital estate
- Build and lead capability across engineering, architecture, service design and innovation
- Ensure services are secure, reliable and aligned with best practice standards
- Establish strong governance, performance measures and assurance.
Working with senior stakeholders, including Board-level colleagues, you will act as a trusted advisor and ambassador for digital, embedding data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

You’ll be an experienced and inclusive digital leader, comfortable operating at executive level within a complex organisation. You will bring:
