Interviews will take place week commencing 13/07/26. Location can be any of the following offices: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle or Northstowe.
About the role
The role will support the Integrated Change Programme Commercial lead and the wider (centrally led) Commercial Team in the execution and maintenance of the Agency’s commercial strategy, operating an innovative, compliant and cost effective commercial function across the Agency. Managing public procurement activity related to professional services (including contingent labour) and particularly those that fall within the definition of public services contracts under procurement legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintenance of the programmes procurement pipeline
- Establishing a category management approach to meet the change pipeline over the next 5 years
- Supporting the implementation of contract management best practices.
- Contributing to increased commercial capability across the agency, by taking lessons from the programme back into the commercial function.
- Provide advice, guidance and support on the delivery of appropriate procurement procedures.
- Support the procurement and management of Homes England frameworks and Dynamic Markets.
- Access external frameworks as required, e.g. Government Commercial Agency (formerly Crown Commercial Services).
- Adherence to approval and governance procedures, and compliance with procurement legislation.
About you
Procurement professional with significant experience in public procurement. A relevant professional qualification (MCIPS or ACCA, MIIA, CCAB, RICS) is desirable, as is a qualification, specific training or professional experience in disciplines relevant to property, regeneration or housing. Category expertise in Digital/ professional services. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office IT products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
