Role scope

Growth Manager across the South West, Midlands and North. Working with the Senior Growth Manager in the selected area, and members of the Affordable Housing Growth Team, the Growth Manager will play a critical role in increasing the supply of affordable housing delivery. You will be joining our highly experienced team who are committed to making positive change in people’s lives. The team believes in working in a collaborative way to foster good decision making and problem solving within their team.

This is a rare chance to shape the future of affordable housing delivery in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. You will support new and existing delivery partners to bring forward high-quality homes and help progress strategic interventions and long-term plans to deliver the homes that people need.

The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic sites with ambitious projects ranging from large urban regeneration to smaller, bespoke community-led schemes. This is an excellent opportunity to balance day-to-day delivery whilst bringing creative solutions that meet local ambitions and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with increasing the supply of affordable housing delivery by supporting opportunities with delivery partners.
  • Support design and delivery of key strategic sites from large urban regeneration to smaller, community-led schemes.
  • Collaborate with partners to progress strategic interventions and long-term housing plans.
  • Provide viability assessments and contribute to understanding funding models to unlock sites and increase capacity.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships at senior levels, ensuring awareness of commercial and operational impacts.

What you’ll need

  • Experience as a housing professional with ability to work collaboratively in a team and with partners.
  • Proficiency in viability appraisals and a good understanding of funding models.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and persuasive skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day delivery with creative, strategic thinking.
