About the role...

Working in our Strategic Finance and Business Partnering team, the Senior Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting the Agency's programme delivery. You will be joining our enthusiastic and talented team who are committed to making positive change in how the Agency is supported.

We are dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, resolving any issues or queries informally wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to supporting delivery teams. We believe in a collaborative and flexible approach, valuing diversity of experience and perspective to strengthen decision-making and enhance problem-solving across the team.

This is a rare chance to shape future delivery in a fast-growing national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional Finance team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective support to the directorates.

The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects around forecasting, reporting and delivery. There are some exciting projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day-to-day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the table.

About you…

Whilst our day job is to deliver first-class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You'll be comfortable supporting the design and implementation of systems and processes as well as providing key day-to-day finance support and addressing complex issues, where they may arise. You will be proficient in building relationships and offering pragmatic solutions and support on an ongoing basis.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact in addition to the financial impact of what we do as a Strategic Finance and Business partnering team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
