About the role
Working as part of the Strategic Finance and Business Partnering team, the Assistant Accountant will play a key role in the preparation of monthly financial reporting information and supporting reconciliations. The role will involve a combination of taking ownership for a range of tasks, providing support to the wider team, as well as actively identifying and implementing improvements across tasks and processes.

The requirements of the role mean that you will be dedicated to producing accurate information, working effectively within a team and demonstrating a strong willingness to learn. You will excel at managing tasks simultaneously and meeting monthly deadlines. You will also be adaptable, inquisitive and eager to explore new ways of working to support process improvement. This curiosity will drive you to continuously seek out new knowledge and this mindset will enable you to contribute effectively and adapt to the ever-evolving financial landscape. Collaboration will be at the heart of your role. You will work closely with various Finance colleagues ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Your ability to collaborate effectively will help integrate financial insights into broader business strategies.
