About The Role
We’re seeking a Finance Director / Head of Finance with significant experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing. This is a high-impact, senior leadership role, you’ll guide financial strategy, influence operational decisions, and lead a multi-site finance team to deliver excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with precision and strategic insight
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Oversee monthly accounts, cash flow, tax, audit, and risk management
- Provide senior leadership with actionable financial insight to drive decision-making
- Build strong relationships with auditors, banks, and key external partners
- Continuously improve systems, processes, and controls to streamline operations
Experience & Skills
- Proven finance leadership in industrial engineering or manufacturing
- Multi-site / multi-location financial management
- ERP/MRP system experience, including ERP change programmes
- Strong people management experience
- Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or AAT)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Tech confidence - Excel, Power BI, ERP systems
