Vacancy:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Working within our 2 bedded childrens residential homes, you will play a crucial role in supporting and mentoring children and young people; helping them to navigate challenges and achieve their personal goals. You will be responsible for their safety, supporting them with their daily routines, attending medical appointments, supporting with family visits, activity planning, meal preparation and more!
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the management team and have responsibility for leading a shift, directing roles and responsibilities to support workers, whilst ensuring accurate record keeping is maintained at all times.
Effective communication skills, along with the ability to build relationships with others is vital! We are looking for an individual who can lead by example, uphold standards, and ensure that the safeguarding of children and young people underpins all decisions made.

What youll bring:
- Minimum of 12 months experience of working within childrens services, preferably supporting children with complex needs.
- Minimum QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
- Availability to work on a shift rota system including weekends and bank holidays and sleep ins
- A full UK Driving Licence.
