We are seeking a passionate, resilient, and experienced manager to lead our established children's home in Bicester. The home is registered to support 2 children, in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference in the life of vulnerable young people. We are looking for a manager who can confidently navigate high pressure situations while maintaining a therapeutic, child-centred approach.

This role requires someone with vision, dedication, and emotional intelligence - someone who is ready to throw themselves into the role, see the long-term goals for the child, and lead a team with compassion and clarity.

Home Overview:

This home can provide care and accommodation for up to two children or young people both males and females aged between 10 - 18 years. It is for children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs specifically mental health/behaviour that challenges others. They may find it difficult to live within larger groups and, therefore require a smaller home that supports their progress.

The Registered Home Manager's leadership will guide the home forward towards ensuring a secure, safe, and motivating environment for both the children and young people in their care and staffing team, fostering an atmosphere where they can thrive.

What you'll bring:

  • QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or willing to work towards.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a care setting in a supervisory role.
  • Thorough understanding of the regulations and legislations which set the standards within a Children's Home setting.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations.
  • Ability to work closely with Responsible Individual and key individuals within the strategic partnership.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Passionate about supporting vulnerable children.
