Vacancy:

We are currently looking to appoint a Registered Home Manager for our 5 bedded childrens residential home in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day running of the home with the support of the Deputy Manager. The home is currently rated as Good with Ofsted. We are looking for a manager who is a natural leader and has the needs of the children and young people we support at the heart of what they do.

You will have a previous experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting, a good understanding of Ofsted requirements, recruitment, staff training, supervisions, implementing safeguarding, policies and procedures. Perhaps you are an experienced Deputy Manager who is looking for a step up in your career, or a Registered Home Manager who is looking for a new opportunity we would love to hear from you.

What you'll bring:

  • QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • At least 2 years recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Childrens Home
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills with a child-centred approach
  • Strong knowledge of childrens home regulations and legislation
  • A positive track record with Ofsted inspections
  • The ability to inspire a team and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Full UK Driving Licence
