The platform is being used by customers around the world, from large-multinational private campus owners, to local authorities and transport operators. They use Podaris for everything from bus network redesigns, to the planning of new innovative multi-billion pound mass transit schemes. Our small team makes for an inclusive, interdisciplinary, and intellectually stimulating environment. We value diversity and welcome candidates from non-traditional backgrounds. Strong understanding of GIS concepts, coordinate systems, spatial data formats, and geospatial algorithms. Experience with processing and analysing transportation data, such as travel demand patterns, network flows, or accessibility metrics. Familiarity with spatial databases and geographic data structures. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership. You understand that startups are unpredictable environments and are comfortable with a degree of chaos. Desirable Experience with transport data formats such as OpenStreetMap, GTFS, and TransXchange. Background in transport planning, urban planning, or transportation engineering. Experience with transportation modelling or network analysis tools. Knowledge of web-based visualisation techniques for complex spatial and temporal data. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, technology-focused organisation.
